LM76's ceramic bearing was the first drop-in replacement for linear ball bearings (1976). They excel in applications that mechanically confound linear ball bearings:

 

  • Rapid Oscillation 

  • High Speeds (has performed at 120 G's plus acceleration)   

  • Shock/Vibration

  • Simultaneous Linear/Rotary Translation

  • High Temperature 

* We have not found an application acceleration or system speed where we these bearings have failed  failed when properly employed.
